What colour will 2026 be?

When it comes to paint finishes, AluK has its own in-house vertical paint line capable of delivering an impressive 2000+ colour and texture options, all in marine grade quality.

Our facility is easily one of the most advanced and impressive in the UK, not just in the quality of the finish but in its environmental performance as well. We are 100% chromate free, we have an innovative system to recapture and reuse all the  paint powder and when we discharge the water used in the paint line back into the network it is officially cleaner than when it arrives!

Working with our paint suppliers Akzo Nobel, we keep track of what’s in and what’s out to ensure that the colours we offer keep pace – and we try to anticipate future trends as well. We’ve already responded to green as the new Millennial Grey and now we’re obviously looking ahead at what’s to come in 2026.

In terms of interiors, we’re being told it will be all about nature-inspired palettes – we can expect to see serene blue-green tones, with warm terracotta and mustard accents and auburn and plum for dramatic contrast and depth.

For exteriors, teal is even being talked about as a ‘new neutral’ and it’s predicted to be a popular choice for front doors and facades, with earthy tones like terracotta and rich bronze likely to be popular too.

Obviously, windows and doors are a long term choice, and buyers understandably tend to choose colours they know won’t go out of date. That’s why grey, white and black continue to dominate, but variations on those colours and nature inspired greens and blues are certainly growing in popularity.

We even have our own colour collection called Elements which brings together all those natural colours into one range – including Mid Green and Ocean Blue. All of these Elements colours come in a matt finish, but if you want a textured finish instead, then you’ll find that in our Homestead range, which also includes earthy Holme Dune alongside Monmouth Green.

Of course, aluminium windows are all about slim frames and maximising the amount of light coming into the home. So, even if you only choose natural tones for your interior and stick with grey or white for your frames, you know that you’ll be illuminating your interior perfectly!
