AluK’s newest range of products – our HI collection – has been specifically designed with additional insulation concealed within the frames and offers our most energy-efficient window and door options yet, with no compromise on style.
The three new and improved products in the collection are our 58BW HI window system, which comes in a whole range of options including classic casement, traditional flush and slimline heritage steel replacement, our 58BD HI glazed entrance door system and our iconic BSF70 HI bifold door. Fitted together or individually, they can help to create a lighter, brighter and greener home.
All 3 products also meet and surpass the performance standards of the new Building Regs, updated in 2022 to ensure that every new home being built, and every existing home being extended or refurbished, uses less energy. Part L of the Building Regs relates specifically to windows and doors, and this sets a maximum U-Value (or thermal efficiency rating) for every frame of between 1.2 and 1.6 W/m2K depending on where they are being fitted.
What makes our HI collection special isn’t just that the windows and doors comply with those U-Values, but they combine that performance with contemporary aesthetics as well. The 58BW HI window meets the new U-Values using conventional double-glazed units, so there’s no need for expensive triple glazing. It’s highly versatile, with lots of frame options for modern or traditional homes, a choice of frame depths and all the security features you need.

The 58BD HI door is almost endlessly customisable so you can choose a front door which makes as much of a statement as you like. It is available in single or double door configuration and in a wide variety of colours, designs and finishes. Alongside the comfort of great thermal performance, you can feel safe and secure with multi-point locking systems as standard and Secured by Design accreditation.
Our best-loved BSF70 bifold, made even better
The BSF70 HI system combines all the features which have made it one of the UK’s most popular bifolds but with better-than-ever thermal performance. It comes in open-in or open-out multi-panel designs, and with a flush line pop-out handle which means the panels stack flush when they are fully open, and top-quality stainless-steel rollers for effortless opening and closing.
